My wife and I did a ton of research prior to deciding on a treadmill. Like most people, we began our search online and quickly found out we were more confused after doing online research than when we started. We also realized that most of these review sites for treadmill were nothing more than advertisements. Very frustrating!
We ultimately narrowed our search to 3 different brands of treadmills. We wanted a heavy duty treadmill that would feel like something we used at our LifeTime Fitness health club. We narrowed our search down to Life Fitness, Precor Fitness and 3G Cardio. After trying out all 3 (several times and annoying both my wife and probably the sales people at the store) we went with the 3G Cardio Elite Treadmill. The sales person also suggested this as the better quality and better value machine. We actually thought that was indicative of the quality of this treadmill because she could have tried to sell us on a more well known brand name but she was passionate about the 3G Cardio treadmill.
I will start by saying WOW. We have owned this treadmill for about 4 months and it is a BEAST. It weighs almost 400lbs, has a 10 years parts warranty and 2 years in home labor service! Although it is the size of a full commercial treadmill, it was priced so much better (we negotiated a price of $2999). We ultimately compared it to the Life Fitness Club Series treadmill which sold for $5499 (we worked a best price of $4750) but not only did we like the overall feel and quality of the 3G Cardio Elite Treadmill, it was priced so much better. I honestly still don’t quite understand how 3G Cardio can sell a similar treadmill to the Life Fitness for so much less. The girl at the store said 3G Cardio has a different pricing structure similar to what Costco does…. Maybe I should have listened better.
Pros of the 3G Cardio Elite Runner Treadmill:
(1) Soft, heavy duty feel – doesn’t shake at all.
(2) Price – Much better than any other brand we researched
(3) Warranty – 10 years all parts of the treadmill
(4) Good but simple programming – speakers and a fan too!
(5) Big belt area to run on – plenty of space and I don’t feel cramped.
Cons of the 3G Cardio Elite Runner Treadmill
(1) Very heavy – I would not want to try and put this together myself (I had the local retailer assemble it)
(2) It is still expensive even though it was a better deal
(3) I wish there was more information about this treadmill available online. Unless I went to my local retail store I would probably have not known about this treadmill.
The day the delivery company came out and assembled the unit we actually had a service problem. The treadmill would not turn on but one of the delivery guys figured out that one of the plug cables was not plugged in all the way. That made us nervous for a minute but everything turned out to be perfect. I am glad the guy knew what he was doing!
Overall, I would recommend this treadmill and gave it 5 stars. I am 40 years old and don’t have the best knees but I still like to run. The thick orthopedic cushion belt helps me run and the fact that I weigh 240lbs, I love this stability of the whole treadmill. I am also really pleased with the treadmill computer display. I lay my iPad right on the display and hook it is through the speakers and can watch and listen to a movie while I exercise. If I have any issues with this treadmill I will give an update.

Rock solid machine! We were looking for a good machine to replace our 15yr old Pacemaster Pro Elite and found it with this Treadmill. Very stable while running with little floor bounce much like the more expensive gym models.
On delivery and set up, this treadmill is heavy at 400# and took 4 of us to move it around on furniture dollies. Ensure the delivery comes with two persons as mine had one and he asked for help unloading it. Assembly was straight forward but should be done its final location.
Basic operation is straight forward with the quick keys which is our typical usage. The display provides good info, but I do find myself switching the mode a lot to display what I like to see (distance, time, calories). The programing for the different type of runs is a bit lengthy with no memory of its last settings. We also like the heart rate function and the fan.
The warranty is the best on the market, which was the final selling point for us.

First, there customer service was AWESOME in walking me through some questions I had during setup and after. I’m not real handy. Second, the running surface is just as wide as what I used at the gym I belonged to and it’s extremely smooth and sturdy to run on.

After putting lots of other things ahead of my health, I invested in a 3G Cardio Elite Runner Treadmill and 5 months later my only complaint is that I didn’t buy this machine years ago. The large running belt is super smooth and quiet to run on. The big motor allows it to go up to 12 mph according to the user’s guide, but the fastest I train at is 6.5.

We’ve had our 3G Cardio treadmill since the Autumn of 2021. We’re using it daily to help with weight loss. Due to some mobility issues, we have to do 3 minutes on and 3 minutes off until we reach our 30 mins daily.
I must say that we are grateful for this awesome machine. We use the level 2 incline that you recommended and there is definitely less stress on our knees.
