Can you do a cardio workout on an Accelerated Vibration Training machine?

When using a 3G Cardio 5 AVT™ Accelerated Vibration Training Plate or 3G Cardio 6 AVT™ Accelerated Vibration Training Plate a person does not stay on it continuously for long increments of time as they would on a treadmill or elliptical machine.

An Accelerated Vibration Training (AVT) workout is much more similar to exercising with free weights or exercise machines.

That doesn’t mean you can’t also get a good cardio workout on an Accelerated Vibration Training (AVT) machine. Here’s a great way to get a cardio workout it.

AVT CARDIO WORKOUT – Set the Accelerated Vibration Training (AVT) machine to 35 hertz to warm up with some easy stretches.

As you continue to warm up, increase the hertz setting and move into a step routine.

As you do the step routine – stepping up on and back off the machine, alternating legs – the vibrations will work through your body and greatly engage your muscles, while also improving circulation. You will tone and strengthen muscles. Depending what pace you step up an down at, and for how long you, can get a great cardio workout as well.

Even doing intense sets of 5 minutes with 1 minute breaks and repeating can provide an excellent workout. Or, go continuously for 10-15minutes straight if you can for a good workout as well.

AVT ABDOMINAL WORKOUT – To work you abdominal muscles, which will also help your cardio, great exercises on the 3G Cardio 5 AVT™ Accelerated Vibration Training Plate or 3G Cardio 6 AVT™ Accelerated Vibration Training Plate are front plank and glute bridge (laying with feet on machine and arching up with head braced on small bench off of machine).

For power crunches, sit on the vibration Plate balancing on your butt. Raise your legs up with your knees bent and feet off the floor and off the plate. Do crunches reaching for your knees for a basic core exercise. Lower your torso but don’t let it down and keep your legs just inches above the plate for leg lifts.

If it’s difficult to balance you can try performing crunches and ab work with your butt on the ground and feet on the plate. Flip over onto your belly and get into the Superman position to stretch your back and work muscles in the mid and lower back section.
